  • Order Preparation: After your order is placed, we typically begin processing within 1–2 business days. Some customized or made-to-order lamps may require additional preparation or production time. Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.
  • Shipping Methods: Standard Shipping is provided free of charge. We ship using international carriers such as DHL, DPD, FedEx, or local postal services, depending on the destination and delivery method.
  • Split Shipments: If your order contains multiple items, they may ship from different warehouses to help reduce delivery time. If this happens, you will receive separate tracking numbers for each package.

Shipping Costs

Kimbion offers free Standard Shipping on all eligible orders. For Standard Shipping, shipping costs are fully covered by the seller and no additional shipping fees are charged at checkout.

Expedited Shipping is available upon request for customers who require faster delivery. Expedited Shipping fees are not included in free shipping and must be paid by the buyer.

The cost of Expedited Shipping varies depending on the destination country or region, shipment size, and carrier availability. Exact expedited shipping fees will be confirmed and clearly communicated before order confirmation or at checkout.

Please note that Expedited Shipping fees are non-refundable once the order has been shipped, as these charges are paid directly to the courier.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number(s). Please allow 1–3 business days for the carrier to display the first tracking update.

Address Changes & Liability

Because we process orders quickly, we follow a strict address-change policy:

  • Within 2 Days of Order Placement: You may request a shipping address change free of charge within 2 calendar days.
  • After 2 Days: Address changes cannot be guaranteed. If the shipment has already been collected by the carrier, any rerouting fees will be the customer’s responsibility. If rerouting fees are not paid and the package is returned, related costs may be deducted from the refund.

Expedited Shipping

If you need your order sooner, we can offer expedited options via DHL or UPS Express, with an estimated delivery time of 6–10 business days. Please contact us for a quote prior to placing your order.

Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable once the order has shipped, as these charges are paid directly to the courier.

Delivery Issues & Insurance

  • Damaged in Transit: If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will offer free replacement parts, a replacement item, or a full refund as appropriate.
  • Lost or Misdelivered Packages: If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, you must request a carrier trace within 7 days. Once the carrier confirms the package is lost (excluding theft after delivery), we will reship your order at no additional cost.
  • Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or a failed delivery attempt, you may choose to pay for re-shipping or receive a refund.

Tariffs, Import Taxes & Duties

For US Customers:
For orders shipped via Standard Shipping, customs duties and import-related charges are typically covered by Kimbion as the seller, so you can simply wait for delivery.

If Expedited Shipping (air freight) is selected, U.S. Customs may assess additional duties or import fees. In such cases, any charges imposed by customs authorities will be the buyer’s responsibility.

For International Customers:
For Standard Shipping to Canada, the United Kingdom, and most European Union countries, import duties and VAT are covered by Kimbion as the seller.

When expedited shipping methods are selected, customs authorities may impose additional duties, taxes, or clearance fees, which will be the buyer’s responsibility.

Shipping Exclusions

We currently do not ship to all African countries, all South American countries, or certain regions including Afghanistan, India, Iraq, and some island territories. If you are located in one of these areas, please contact us for a custom shipping quote.

Shipping exclusions are due to current logistical limitations, carrier restrictions, or local import regulations.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange.

To qualify for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In its original condition and packaging
  • Returned with proof of purchase

Return Reasons & Shipping Responsibility

Returns generally fall into two categories:

1. Quality Issues or Shipping Damage

  • Damage during transportation
  • Incorrect item received

In these cases, Kimbion will cover all return shipping costs and offer a free replacement or a full refund.

2. Customer Preference / Change of Mind

If the return is due to personal reasons, such as:

  • The product does not meet personal expectations
  • Size or color preference
  • Ordered the wrong item or quantity
  • No longer needing the product
The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Inspection Upon Delivery

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue quickly.

Items Eligible for Return or Refund

You may be eligible for a return, refund, or replacement if:

  • The item is damaged or defective
  • The item has not been used and meets the 30-day return requirements
  • The shipment was returned to sender undelivered
  • The order was not delivered within 30 days

In these cases, we will provide a full refund or replacement and cover all related costs.

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned, except where required by law:

  • Custom, bespoke, or made-to-order products
  • Light bulbs or consumable accessories
  • Items not in original condition or packaging

For items not eligible for return refunds, you will be responsible for your own return shipping costs. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of order confirmation.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, cancellation is no longer guaranteed. If your order has not yet shipped, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist.

How to Start a Return

Exchanges

To receive a replacement quickly, we recommend returning the original item and placing a new order once the return is approved.

If your order is shipped to the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, without providing a reason.

Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued after the returned item is received and inspected.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5 business days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
